8. NATIONAL JUNIOR TOURNAMENT EXPENSES

DCJGS has allocated some funds towards contributing to the expense involved by a parent accompanying a Junior golfer to a National Junior Tournament. A parent will be able to claim for the Junior golfer only (on the prescribed form obtainable from the DCJGS Secretary) an allowance towards his Dinner, Bed and Breakfast plus a further allowance towards travelling expenses. Payment will only be made against receipts submitted with the claim form. IT IS HOPED THIS SCHEME WILL ENABLE MANY MORE JUNIOR GOLFERS FROM DEVON TO COMPETE IN NATIONAL AND SIMILAR CHAMPIONSHIPS.

9. SPONSORSHIP

Although the Society and its Junior Members are in good heart, it is basically operating on funding provided by DCGU but this, for obvious reasons, has its limitations. Additional funding would always be welcome and if any person or any corporate concern could ever find its way to offering financial assistance in return for some advertising benefit, it would be much appreciated.

Further information concerning Devon Junior Golf can be obtained from the Secretary.
