First blood to Devon as they beat the old enemy in this 12 a side (10 scores to count) Scratch Stableford match by 295 points to 254. A 41 point victory.

It was a dry cold day with a strong wind not normally associated with the course. This wind made the back nine very hard to play. Ryan Pope and Anthony McGeorge top scored for Devon with 35 points, followed by Matt Wells with 34 and Dan Rosevear with 33.

Most  of the boys played well and all bodes very well for another successful year, although there is still al lot of hard work to be done.
