Easter Challenge (Saunton) - 24 March
A great weekend for Devon Junior Golf with County Junior Captain David Willacy (Bigbury) winning Scratch Prize in Saunton's Easter Challenge Cup with Joe Yorke (Saunton) & Ryan Fricker (Yelverton) finishing in the top ten.
Former County Captain, Graham Ruth (Tavistock) took 9 Order of Merit points with a splendid 148 just two shots behind Willacy. Current County players - Jon White (Saunton), Jack & Peter Stevenson (Gt. Torrington), Steven Buzza (Exeter) and James Dimond (East Devon) - all scored valuable points.

Open Medal (Churston) - 6 April
Tom Woodhouse (East Devon) won the Churston Open with 141 (gross) that included a second round total of 67. Five shots back on 146 was Seniors team member, Jim Pettigrew(Churston) and County First Team player, James Dimond (Warren).
Jack Stevenson (Gt. Torrington) leads the Order of Merit table after two events with James Dimond in hot pursuit.

Open Medal (East Devon) - 13 April
Home player, David Blick won the East Devon Open with a fine 142. County players Lewis Clarke (Exeter) and Jon White finished second and third respectively.
Tom Woodhouse (East Devon), who finished fourth is the new leader of the Order of Merit Table.

Directors Cup (Exeter) - 10 May
James Dimond (East Devon) won the Directors Cup by virtue of a better second round from Jon White (Saunton). Lewis Clarke (Exeter) finished third, two shots behind.
Jon White became the new leader of the Order of Merit wth James Dimond second and Tom Woodhouse (East Devon) third.

Devon Salver (Exeter) - 11 May
Lewis Clarke (Exeter) won the Devon Salver ahead od James Holt (Yelverton) and Jason Hampton (Stover)
James Dimond swopped places with Jon White to lead the Order of Merit table whilst Lewis Clarke's win moved into joint second place. |

Gold Medal (RND) - 16 May
Host Club Member, David Ford, won the Gold Medal in the Amateur Championship Qualifier by an incredible 5 shots from Tom Woodhouse (East Devon). David's second round score of 65 was the best of the day.
James Dimond retains the lead in the competiton with Jon White second and Tom Woodhouse third.

Thorburn Memorial Cup (Saunton) - 10 August
Chris Adams fron Farrington won the Thorburn Cup with a score of 148 (73+75) two strokes ahead of Jack Stevenson (Great Torrington who carded two rounds of 75. Local lad, Jon White was third one shot behind on 151.
James Dimond is joined at the top of the Merit Table by Jon White who both have 44 points. |
